History

The Royal Buddha Roh Phra Khrubunchai, the Phulayod Chathurak, will be the only and last time that Wat Phra Khrubunchai, Lampang will bring the 1,500-year-old gold-plated Phulayod Chathurak that was preserved during the renovation of the Sri Phulayod Chathurak Jom Jedei in 2018 to create the Royal Buddha Roh.

The latest restoration of the Huahin Temple’s pagoda took place in 2012. A new spire was built to make it more stable and permanent than before. There is no longer any spire built during the great auspicious occasion of the land. Therefore, the clergy and the Huahin Temple Board have brought this spire as the main material for the construction of the Huahin Royal Emerald Gem in this occasion.

This golden statue of Phraya Yod Chot is the highest statue in the pagoda that is 1,500 years old. It weighs approximately 15 baht. It has been restored and has been adorned with gold for a long time, equivalent to the age of the holy shrine of Hri Bhun Chai, which is the highest blessing that monks, Buddhist monks, and the royal family have offered to the Thai people for a long time. Therefore, it is a great treasure of great power.
