Many auspicious offerings in the ritual pavilion
On that day, there were several auspicious plants displayed, and the choice was not made without any basis; rather, it was made based on the characteristics and meanings of each plant.
This means that each plant is not just a raw material, but is part of the structure of the ritual that was prepared in advance.
The “spell out the herbs” process”
One of the things that Gev saw as very interesting was the process called “The spell of the plants”
Master Mu of Thongtham Temple uses ancient lineage spells to dispel the poison or power that is considered inappropriate before making a prayer to bring about auspicious meaning.
The ritual chants during the ceremony
In addition to preparing the herbs, the monks were also given the mantras to recite during the cooking process, so that the entire process would follow the guidelines set by the creator.
For the glass, this reflects the meticulousness of the ritual that does not focus solely on the ingredients but also includes the preparation method, use, and the philosophical meaning behind it.
When we understand both the materials and the preparation methods, we will see that the value of the ritual lies not only in the objects themselves, but also in the knowledge that lies behind them.
